Unique to our area waters are our beautiful Concho Pearls. San Angelo is the place to come for good times, excellent educational and medical facilities, and just about every recreational activity under the sun. We are the home of Angelo State University, and Goodfellow Air Force Base.
Our city offers a diverse mixture of arts and culture, to include San Angelo Ballet, San Angelo Symphony, San Angelo Civic Theatre, ASU theatre and many wonderful concerts. Hispanic cultural events at our Paseo de Santa Angela, and many other wonderful events throughout the year, make San Angelo an ideal location to get away from it all.
Other San Angelo highlights include boat cruises on Lake Nasworthy, Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, and the Historic Santa Fe Deport & Railway Museum. Children will love our San Angelo Nature Center and the entire family will enjoy the Chicken Farm Art Center, as well as other unique shopping opportunities that San Angelo has to offer.
